REPERTOIRE CLASSES
Discovering Repertoire - A Classical Ballet Performance Programme
Discovering Repertoire is a classical ballet performance programme, an innovative new concept in training and assessment from the RAD.
Uniquely, the programme includes well-known classical repertoire, meaning students will learn and dance choreography that they have seen on stage, set to music that they know and love.
Discovering Repertoire is a pioneering program providing the opportunity to experience famous ballets from the inside. The program offers students a chance to learn well known repertoire such as Coppella, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker.
Discovering Repertoire enables students to go to the very heart of these works and to discover the excitement of making a character real for an audience through movement, music and technique.
Discovering Repertoire appeals to many students. It is suitable for male and female students from 12 years and adults of any age. Students can also choose to participate in exams for these grades.
The three levels cater for beginners, those with some prior ballet experience, as well as the more advanced dancer.
The Prima Ballet Academy offers the new RAD Discovering Repertoire syllabus.
