TEEN BALLET LESSONS (HIGHER GRADES)
Ages 12 years - Adult
For ages 13 years to adult, these RAD grades provide an in-depth study of classical ballet technique. Having a strong focus on correct and safe technique, as well as musicality and performance. The higher grades are designed to inspire and challenge dancers whilst preparing them for a potential career involving classical ballet, including performing and teaching. All of our higher grades classes include pointe work which all of our teen students can participate in once they've been assessed by our dance physiotherapist.
COST
Our ballet lessons are $20/hour +gst paid for by fortnightly direct debit.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dancers wear an RAD approved uniform consisting of a leotard, wrap skirt, tights and pink ballet shoes. The Prima Ballet Academy lends character skirts and shoes to students as required.
PERFORMANCES
Our students participate in our end of year concert. They also have the option to participate in official RAD ballet exams.
