CHILDREN'S BALLET CLASSES (EARLY GRADES)
Ages 6 - 12 years
For children aged 6 and over, the early grades are a series of RAD grades that build on the foundation of classical ballet technique whilst keeping a focus on musicality and the expression and joy of dancing and performing.
The Prima Ballet Academy follows the official ballet grades;
Pre-Primary
Primary
Grades 1 - 8
All of these grades are taught by a qualified ballet teacher who has been trained by RAD to teach them accurately. They are taught in a way that encourages social and emotional growth and wellbeing, the development of friendships and of course, correct and safe technique.
COST
Our ballet lessons are $20/hour + gst, paid for by fortnightly direct debit.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dancers wear an RAD approved uniform consisting of a leotard, wrap skirt, tights and pink ballet shoes. The Prima Ballet Academy lends character skirts and shoes to students as required.
PERFORMANCES
Our students participate in our end of year concert which is a really fun dinner and dancing evening for all the family.
